It’s supposed to be “Thomas and Twilight Sparkle Say Merry Madagascar”. Saying “Says” after two characters’ names makes it sound like a double feature.
Wouldn’t it be better to use “Thomas and Twilight Sparkle Wish You A Merry Madagascar”? "Thomas and Twilight Sparkle Says Merry Madagascar" sounds like baby talk.
