Psyga's General Blog: THERE ARE RULES TO POOH'S ADVENTURES!?

psyga315:

Okay, I told you guys I’d retire… but… WHAT!? I can’t believe this! THERE ARE RULES FOR POOH’S ADVENTURES!!! I… wow. I actually wonder what sort of rules they could have, because I sure as hell want to know. These rules are for the Pooh’s Adventures Creators who want to contribute to the wikia, so we’re probably looking at what rules the higher ups adhere to. Let’s begin.

1. When you create a character page, please put in who voices the character. The actors and actresses should deserve some recognition.

Okay, simple and fair enough. I mean, it would be cool to know just whose voice to imagine for the characters when they’re in subtitle format.

2. No Anime allowed. (except Pokemon, Digimon and Sailor Moon.)

Oooookay… At least this explains a few things, like why there’s so few Anime in the series. At least I should be thankful, because that means I don’t have to read up on how Kyubey’s new backstory is that he’s the bastard child of Artemis and Maleficent. Though I think the rule is broken. Not sure, though, since it’s not on the Wikia, and I think this rule only applies to the Wikia.

3. NO real life characters allowed. (examples: Barack Obama, George Bush, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, etc…)

Good. Great. No, actually this is great. It helps out greatly. Fanfiction.net doesn’t allow the use of real people in their stories either, so… kudos.

4. If any characters are not created by Disney, put them in the Non-Disney category. (Including T.V. shows and Video Games)

Okay.

5. Don’t make a page about fake spin-offs. (We won’t tollerate fake one, unless they must be shown on Youtube.)

Hm… What about the ones that don’t have Youtube videos? The ones that are being planned out? Case in point, Skarloey’s Adventures.

6. Do not reupload pages that have been deleted.

Another rule that makes sense. I mean, I don’t think anyone else would want to see a page of Pooh’s Adventures in Breaking Bad.

7. No Horror/Cult films allowed.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh… Not to mention the cameos from Freddy, Jason, and other assorted horror movie characters in another Adventures video…

8. Only Disney/Non Disney characters. (especially Pixar)

Okay, what the hell constitutes as Non-Disney? Anything not owned by Disney counts as Non-Disney. It’s oddly worded for some loophole abuse, though the other rules seem to stop that.

9. Do not make pages about your own spin-offs unless it has to be shown onYoutubeDailyMotion, or Vimeo.

Okay, I gotta ask here, why is it “unless it has to be shown"? Shouldn’t it be: “unless it is to be shown"? Has to is usually more like a demand than anything else. Like say, “he has to pilot the giant robot" or “he has to eat his green peas.“

10. If any of you will like to write instaed of amking movies, you may do so. (Only on Devaintart and Fanfction)

Good rule. The only downside I see with this is that there’s no support for Archive Of Our Own.

11. Do not upload inappropriate content. (examples; Fallout, Dead Rising,South Park, Family Guy, Napoleon Dynamite, and Grand Theft Auto, etc…)

Oh? You mean this?

12. Do not use any characters that have already been chosen by another user.

Um… Turf war much? I’m not exactly sure who owns what exactly. Obviously the Fantasy Adventure Team (That’s Benny, Leo, and Johnny’s team to those not in the know) are owned by Lionkingheart Studios. Bowser, Mistress 9, Baby Bowser, and Ranamon Azula are owned by Bowsermovies1989, I think… though there are mentions of Bowser in other Pooh’s Adventures not made by him… Though I think that’s with permission… It’s just confusing.

13. If a character has not appeared in a Spin offs yet, do not add them to this Wiki.

Um… K?

15. Comic book characters are not allowed. (Batman characters are exempt from this rule.)

Well, there goes the Avengers, even though they’re technically Disney characters… (I feel dirty)

Okay, at this point, the Wiki repeats itself with the rules. In fact, Rule 25 is just Rule 10 in different words. Either they become super specific with the rulings and what kind of movie Pooh should have an adventure of or they have rulings that are soon deemed hypocritical via a quick search on their own wiki no less. And chances are, it will be both. No exceptions.

Play a game, actually. Count how many times even one rule gets broken. Fuck, at this point, the US Constitution is more consistent than this! There is a bright side though. The rules are on a wikia, and thus, they are editable. Not only that, but everyone can edit them. I ask any reader, be they a fan of Pooh’s Adventures, a hater of Pooh’s Adventures or even a creator of Pooh’s Adventures, to just go and fix up the page so that it’s not repetitive, hypocritical or both.

And if you are a hater of Pooh’s Adventures, you may find it weird to hear me say this, but don’t do this as an excuse to vandalize the page or link to pages that break the rules directly at the rules. You’re not doing anyone any favors with this. Yes, it’s funny to point out the flaws in a rule system, but the rules need to be fixed, and unlike the aforementioned Constitution, this can be fixed by an average Joe’s hand.

No Trolling, Vandalising, nor Harassment/Cyberbullying.“

Then now would be a good time to do something about the dookyIKRdooky article, wouldn’t it?
