Why this trend really doesn’t work well on anything rated above PG.

My more mature response to self-proclaimed Yakko’s violent behaviour towards Scooby-Doo and The Dark Crystal. But Jay Sherman didn’t stop there, and neither will I. I haven’t even riffed Benny, Leo and Johnny’s Adventures of Beauty and the Beast yet.

If you didn’t like my commentaries on the previous videos, then you’re in luck. Let the WTF Boredom Reactors take care of this one.

20 cliches in a Pooh’s Adventure

  1. The new Walt Disney Pictures logo
  2. The opening of “Paw and Order”
  3. Clips from “Paw and Order”
  4. Subtitles and muting to replace certain dialogue
  5. Character from another kind of media is involved
  6. One clip gets repeated
  7. The creator of the video adds his name to the opening credits (if applicable)
  8. Long character introduction scene whenever a new friend is met
  9. Anything the hero does, one of the video’s characters does similar
  10. Montage of screaming or running
  11. Character will state the obvious
  12. Clips repeat in favour of any mention of the main character’s “partners”
  13. Character has a fan-created family tree
  14. An additional musical number
  15. Character is not as smart as/is smarter than he/she used to be
  16. Spelling mistakes
  17. Reaction shots where a character who does not belong in the video is present
  18. Character will speak a line someone else is supposed to say
  19. Additional subtitles for characters who are not visible
  20. “I don’t suppose you’d be satisfied with a hug instead?”

Pooh’s Adventures of The Magic Voyage: Part 3. Thankfully, I didn’t have much to say for this one.

  • 1:04 Just like a bull, eh? I just hope this user’s displayed age is just another one of those disguises.
  • 1:35 You can’t do anything. You’re just there to provide reaction shots, for crying out loud!
  • 2:26 Another notable flaw from the original movie.
  • 2:42 Shut up, Minnie. Christopher only takes information from Pico, not silent clips from Disney cartoons.
  • 3:52 I was expecting the same reaction from Mickey and Minnie. What a rip-off.
  • 4:37 And yet Genie made no comment about the vizier? Screw you, disneyJSman!
  • 5:23 You, Mickey and me, Tigger. You, Mickey and me.
  • 6:49 There just aren’t enough English teachers in this world.
  • 7:00 REPETITION ALERT! Kanga wasn’t even introduced!
  • 7:10 And here’s one of those scenes that didn’t need dialogue at all, but the dubbing crew thought it would bore kids so they ad libbed it. Wonder what they’d think of this version.
  • 7:32 REPETITIOh, wait. That’s just the damn movie.
  • 7:45 Same as it ever was, same as it ever was, same as it ever was, same as it ever was…
  • 8:14 What? They ad-libbed Pico with a female voice? No. It’s just Minnie’s voice covering the third instance of Pico’s “pretty cool” line.
  • 8:22 Yes you do. For being filmed with a camera more than starring in the film itself.
  • 8:29 Well, good thing he actually got some scenes that fit.
  • 8:59 REPETITION ALERT!! Honestly. Every single time someone gets scared, what’s the need for the whole gang to be scared?!
  • 9:17 It’s not even stupid fun.
  • 9:18 REPETITION ALERT!!! And the fourth time we get to see that damn reaction shot.

How do you make a crappy video even crappier? Drop in clips of kiddy cartoons and call it character development. This, my friends, is a parody of the repetitive, overly long (seriously, check out how many of these there are), reasonlessly critically acclaimed Pooh’s Adventures videos. Pooh’s Adventures is a crossover video cult where full-length movies are believed to be made better, even if they were already stupid to begin with, by adding in cartoon characters like Winnie the Pooh, Littlefoot, Simba, Aladar or Sonic. Sometimes, it’s like Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue if drugs really were involved.

So, not quite following up what was even longer and even more brain-cancer-y, watch Pooh Bear and the rest of the Hundred Acre Wood try to save the day as the Eppaljeck terrorises the planet, by doing nothing but just sitting and making comments about it!

Ever seen those videos and pictures that believe slamming tons of unrelated cartoon/live-action characters into one adventure that is made up of an already existing movie will be entertaining to many? No, I’m not just talking about Pooh’s Adventures. I’m talking about Littlefoot’s Adventures, Robin Hood’s Adventures, Ronald McDonald’s Adventures, Sonic’s Adventures, Shin-Chan’s Adventures, Simba, Timon and Pumbaa’s Adventures, Aladar’s Adventures…
Don’t bother asking who the characters are, who I forgot or where I got them, or even be amazed. Just pay attention to how stupid these crossovers are.
